Duration: ±3 hours which includes 1hr on top of Table Mountain
Distance: ±3km from the start of the hike to the Cable Car station up top. Double that if we walk back down.
Adventure rating: 7/10. Strenuous, you are climbing up a mountain after all! But there is little exposure to heights and we go at your pace…we want you to enjoy the views!
Includes: Guided hike up Platteklip, Free Cable Car ride down, Awesome HD Video of the day + choice of Chilled Adventure which includes Lunch.

What you need to know:
- WHAT DO YOU GET: Includes Mountain Guide + choice of Chilled Adventure day & lunch, HD Video, Coffee on Collection, Transport, WIFI on bus.
- START TIME & DURATION: We will collect you at 6:30am (unless advised otherwise), hike's average 2-3 hours.
- RESTRICTIONS: Min age 10 years old.
- WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable shoes and clothes for hiking, hat, sunglasses.
- WHAT TO BRING: Change of clothes, a warm top, sun block, water, snacks.

What to expect:
FUNFIT ADVENTURES: Hiking in the morning, followed by an afternoon adventure around Cape Town. We start the day early, before it gets too hot! Our adventure guide will collect you with a smile and a fresh cup of hot coffee, and you will then be brought up to speed with what lies ahead. Following your hike we stop for lunch, before continuing on with the Chilled Adventure of your choice. We aim to have you home by 7:30pm. Full details will be communicated on booking.
Ziplining makes use of 2 basic elements, gravity and engineering. Two points are connected by a wire cable, with the start point being higher then the end point. The zipper (aka free-spirited adventurer) is connected to the cable by means of a pulley and harness. Using gravity the zipper will travel down the wire on a pulley system which is attached to the harness. It may sound a little daunting but it is very safe, and is extremely popular. TripAdvisor rated it the second best thing to do in Cape Town in 2019. You are guaranteed an adventure to remember!
Grabouw offers the perfect location to get your ziplining adrenaline fix, with a total of 11 slides zig-zagging across the cliffs and mountain slopes of the Riviersonderend gorge, located within the Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve. The longest slide is a whopping 300m! Yeeha! But don’t assume that this activity is all fun and that there is no fitness involved. You will be required to hike of out the gorge at the end.

- RESTRICTIONS: Weight restriction of 120kg specified by operator. Pregnant women are advised against participation. Min age 10 years old.
- WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable shoes and clothes, hat, sunglasses.
- WHAT TO BRING: Change of clothes, a warm top, towel, sun block, water, snacks.
- EXTRA INFO: Light meal provided by operator, HD Video included, Group size: min 2 - max 6.

We start the day early, before it gets too hot! Our adventure guide will collect you with a smile, and a fresh cup of hot coffee. You will be brought up to speed with what lies ahead on your way to Grabouw. When we arrive there will be a safety briefing before we are transported to the start. We zipline our way down the valley, before hiking our way out at the end. Following your fun adrenalin fuelled experience, we will be able to shower and freshen up* before we grab something to eat. We then head off on your chosen Fun Adventure and aim to have you home by 7pm.
